Hi I'm Cristina Palacios and thank you for visiting the CPClayArt Store!
The first time I saw somebody throwing on a potter’s wheel was during my childhood, while visiting an artisan town in the outskirts of my native Caracas. I vividly remember being hypnotized while watching the ceramist turn what was essentially dirt into a beautiful work of art, as if it were magic. A few years passed before I was finally able to take my first ceramics class and eventually build up my own studio. It was then that I was able to start my long and passionate journey to become like that “artisan-magician” that turned dirt into art. Today I work in my studio CPClayart in the city of Mascotte in Central Florida.
I like to think that the love and passion that I put into the process of creating every one of my pieces, will radiate and fill the life of those who use them with joy.
